Graham Gercken
Graham is a predominantly self-taught Australian landscape and seascape oil painter, and was most influenced by Sir Arthur Streeton and those of the Heidelberg school of artists. Graham has lived in (and painted) the "World Heritage listed" Blue Mountains, the Victorian Countryside (where he perfected painting the Huge River Gums), and most recently back to the Central Coast of NSW. In between, he travelled to China where he lived for four years and learnt the techniques of ink wash painting. After 25 years of Painting professionally, he has won many awards, including a number of first places, had sell-out exhibitions at Prouds Art Gallery Sydney and has his paintings in some of Australia's most prestigious Art Galleries as well as the Korean consulate. Graham's works have been presented to visiting dignitaries, sports persons and are represented in private collections all over the world.
